Mountain Montessori is licensed for children ages 2.5 to 6 years old. Children are evaluated on the basis of readiness for school and potential success in a Montessori classroom. It is equally important to determine whether the parents’ educational philosophy is compatible with that of Mountain Montessori. The admissions process consists of a parent observation visit, a completed application with a non-refundable $25 fee, and a parent, child, teacher meeting. A child is considered a part of our wait pool after the application and fee have been received.
Mountain Montessori welcomes all qualified individuals regardless of sex, race, color, creed, disability, national or ethnic origin.
To be considered for admission to Mountain Montessori there are 3 steps to complete:
- Fill out and mail in application.
- Schedule and complete observation.
- Individualized school tour.
